Birth Forest Planting

Overview

Every year, the City of Chestermere, plants trees in September to recognize those children born to families living within Chestermere.

Thank you to the many families who participated in the 2022 Birth Forest planting. There is no better way to help save the environment than by planting a tree. You can do your part by honouring your child with a tree in our 2023 Birth Forest.

Location

The 2023 Birth Forest will be located along the West end of the Canal Pathway near Rainbow Road where we will continue the growth of our Birth Forest beds.

Parking for the Birth Forest is available along Rainbow Falls Gate.

2023 Birth Forest Registration Form

Planting Fee: If the child was born in the last 12 months to a family within the City of Chestermere, the fee is $60.

There is a fee of $95 for all applicants wishing to have a tree planted in recognition of a child born in to a family living out the City of Chestermere.

Tree sizes are 10 & 15 gallon pots.

Otherwise, please provide your name at the front desk of City Hall to pay by debit or credit card.
