About PCSS
Free Parenting Support
Parent and Caregiver Support Services (PCSS) is a vital component of the Community Services Department within the dynamic framework of the City of Chestermere. As one of the three sub-divisions within Community Services Department, we collaborate seamlessly to strengthen the bonds and meet the needs within our community.
PCSS offers FREE programs and services thanks to our generous funders through the provincial Family Resource Network (FRN) and Family & Community Support Services (FCSS). We proudly offering programs designed for families with of all types and backgrounds, with a specific focus on those with children ages 0-18.
Our Programs & Services
PCSS provides free programs, workshops, and seminars focused on positive parenting practices for caregivers of children ages 0-13.
These programs focus on:
- Children’s social-emotional development
- Anxiety and stress in children and youth
- Healthy parent-child attachment
- Postpartum support
- Speech & Early Literacy
- Parenting Skills and Positive Discipline
