Disc Golf Course
Westmere Disc Golf Course
The City of Chestermere operates a new nine-hole disc golf course located in the greenspace behind St Gabriel’s Highschool. Similar to regular golf, players will play their way through the course with the goal of tossing their disc into the basket in the fewest number of throws.
Disc golf is a great game for individuals of all ages and skill levels! Visit the course anytime you desire, free of charge, for a chance to try it for yourself!
Location:
Behind St Gabriel’s Highschool at 197 Invermere Drive.
9 Holes – The Westmere Disc Golf Course features 9 different holes of varying distance and shape. This makes for a great game with plenty of variety in the course.
Digital Integration – Using the UDisc app on your phone, keep track of score and get a better idea of where your next tee or basket may be. Plus, its free!
Each hole begins at the tee and ends at the basket! Subsequent throws are made from the place where the disc comes to rest. The player who is farthest from the target will always throw first. Tee off order is determined by players’ score on the previous hole. Lowest score tees first.
Baskets are already stationed on the course, you will, however, be required to bring your own discs. Remember, golf discs can cause injury, so always be respectful and play with care when you’re on the green. Always be aware of your surroundings.
