Proposed Road Closure
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M 26 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000, and amendments thereto, the Council of the City of Chestermere is considering Bylaw 006-24. A public hearing will be held on TUESDAY, March 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. during a regular meeting of Council for the below-proposed bylaw.

Written submissions may be submitted by emailing publichearing@chestermere.ca with your name, address, phone number, the bylaw number you are speaking to and whether you are in favour or opposed or by completing the feedback option by visiting the Public Notices page. Requests for verbal representation must be made by Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. The City will accept written submissions until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2024.
Bylaw 006-24 proposes the Road Closure of a ±0.33-hectare/0.82-acre portion of the Range Road 283 allowance. The location of this proposed road closure is in the City’s southwest, where the subject portion abuts a residential parcel at 240187 Rainbow Road
