Notice of Public Hearing – Bylaw 012-24
Proposed Amendment to the City of Chestermere Land Use Bylaw 022-10, as amended
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M 26 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000, and amendments thereto, the Council of the City of Chestermere is considering Bylaw 010-24. A public hearing will be held on TUESDAY, May 28, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. during a regular meeting of Council for the below-proposed bylaw.
The Public Hearings is scheduled during a regular meeting of Council, visit our Council Meetings Page where links to watch the live stream will be posted on the day of the meeting.
Written submissions may be submitted by emailing publichearing@chestermere.ca with your name, address, phone number, the bylaw number you are speaking to and whether you are in favour or opposed or by completing the feedback option by visiting the Public Notices page. Requests for verbal representation must be made by Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. The City will accept written submissions until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 27, 2024. Bylaw 012-24 proposes an amendment to the Land Use Bylaw #022-10, as amended, to redesignate the following;
SITE 1
• To redesignate ±0.25 ha of the Direct Control (DC(R-2C)) District to the Public
Service (PS) District.
SITE 2
• To redesignate ±4.44 ha of the Residential Single Detached (R-1) District to the Residential Planned Lot Front-Drive (R-1PFD) District.
• To redesignate ±2.78 ha of the Residential Single Detached (R-1) District to the Residential Planned Lot Rear-Lane (R-1PRL) District.
• To redesignate ±0.84 ha of the Direct Control (DC(R-2C)) District to the Residential Multi-Unit (R-3) District.
