The City of Chestermere is excited to announce the 2024 Birth Forest planting!
This cherished tradition honours Chestermere’s newest residents by inviting families who welcomed a child in 2024 to participate in planting a tree. Any families located within Chestermere are welcome to apply. The City of Chestermere, through the Parks Department, subsidizes the cost of the trees, making this an excellent and affordable opportunity for families to participate. Please note that registration is required.
This year the Birth Forest planting event will take place on:
- Date: May 8th, 2025
- Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Drop-in style, arrive anytime between 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM)
- Location: Westmere Environmental Reserve (117A Springmere Drive)
Parking is available on Springmere Drive.
