Notice of Public Hearing – Bylaw 013-24
Proposed Amendment to the Land Use Bylaw Map
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000, and amendments thereto, the Council of the City of Chestermere is considering Bylaw 013-24. A public hearing will be held on TUESDAY, May 28, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. during a regular meeting of Council for the below-proposed bylaw.

Written submissions may be submitted by emailing publichearing@chestermere.ca with your name, address, phone number, the bylaw number you are speaking to and whether you are in favour or opposed or by completing the feedback option by visiting the Public Notices page. Requests for verbal representation must be made by Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. The City will accept written submissions until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024. Bylaw 013-24 proposes an amendment to the Land Use Bylaw 022-10, as amended, to allow for the following;
This application proposes amendments intended to rectify discrepancies between the
completed Phase 1 and surrounding future phases throughout Waterford Estates Outline Plan, as well as Waterford Stage 1 Outline Plan. The requested land use amendment includes the following changes:
• Shifting of lot lines
• Addition of a 7.0m lane
• Road name changes
• Re-configuration of two non-credit MR parcels
• Updated area calculations
• Unit per acre (UPA) updates
• Underground main updates
