Notice of Public Hearing – Bylaw 009-25
Proposed amendment to the Land Use Bylaw #020-24, as amended, as shown on Attachment “C” of Bylaw #009-25.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, Chapter M-26, and amendments thereto, the Council of the City of Chestermere is considering Bylaw #009-25. A public hearing will be held on TUESDAY, March 11, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. during a regular meeting of Council for the below-proposed bylaw.
The Public Hearings is scheduled during a Regular Meeting of Council, visit our Council Meetings page where links to watch the live stream will be posted on the day of the meeting.
Written submissions may be submitted by emailing publichearing@chestermere.ca with your name, address, phone number, the bylaw number you are speaking to and whether you are in favour or opposed or by completing the feedback option by visiting the Public Notices page. Requests for written and verbal representation must be made by Monday, March 10, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
Bylaw 009-25 proposes an amendment to the City of Chestermere Land Use Bylaw 020-24, as amended to redesignate lands within the Chelsea community from Residential Semi-Detached (R-2) to Residential Multi-Unit (R-3) as illustrated below.
