Based on recent significant rainfall and cooler temperatures across the region thus far, drought conditions have improved across the Bow River Basin. The mountain snowpack is melting at a normal rate, upstream and Glenmore Reservoir storage is normal for this time of year and water demand is normal.
We’re pleased to report that this has shifted our regions water supply conditions back to normal. As usual, we will continue to monitor conditions carefully over the summer and provide updates appropriately.
