Chestermere RCMP arrest youth during an Assault Investigation on Canada Day
Chestermere, Alta. – In the evening hours of July 1, 2025 on Canada Day, Chestermere RCMP received a call of an adult female being assaulted by a group of young persons at the John Peake Memorial Park. RCMP members attended and through an investigation arrested two young offenders. One was charged with Assault and Uttering threats and the other was charged with one count of assault.
The adult female was transported to a hospital for her injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, there may be other victims and further charges may be pending.
