The City is pleased to announce the asphalt concrete pavement (ACP) surface top lift paving on Range Road 282 and Township Road 240 and CN Rail crossing upgrade.)
Timeline (Proposed/Tentative):
- Construction start date: Tuesday, July 5th, 2024
- Construction completion date: Friday, July 19th, 2024
The road will perform better in extreme temperatures along with ease of maintenance.
The contractor will be actively working in these areas, and this will result in road closures to accommodate construction crews at that time.
Location:
- Township Road 240: From Rainbow Road to Range Road 282 intersection.
- Range Road 282: From Township Road 240 to Kinniburgh Boulevard Intersection,
- Kinniburgh Boulevard: Range Road 282 and Sandpiper Lane intersection.

Why is the construction happening?
This is the final stage required to complete the road surface started in 2023.
How long will construction take?
It is estimated the construction will be a maximum of 8 weeks. We are working to accomplish these routes within the school summer break.
Will there be any closures to Rainbow Road?
Closures to both Range Road 240 and Township Road 282 are to be expected. Further traffic information will be posted on this site soon.
