To allow for the installation of the pedestrian crosswalk poles, bases and flashing beacons by the City’s contractor on the north end of the Rainbow Road Bridge, alternating one-lane closures will be required for one day on May 27th (weather permitting). In case of adverse weather conditions, the work may be delayed. This work is necessary to reduce the risk and hazards associated with pedestrians crossing the bridge as well as the motorists traveling across the bridge in the absence of pedestrian crossing signs.
