Get ready for one of Synergy’s favourite community fundraisers!
The Synergy Amazing Duck Race brings together families, businesses, volunteers and community partners for a fun-filled day supporting local youth, families and residents.
Community teams race through an obstacle course while carrying numbered rubber ducks. At the finish line, the winning ducks are matched with sponsored duck numbers for prize giveaways. Alongside the race, enjoy a youth vendor market, food trucks, yard games, the petting zoo and community activities.
More than just a fundraiser, the event celebrates community connection while raising funds that help Synergy provide affordable and free programming, respond to emerging community needs and create opportunities that improve the well-being of local residents.
Event Schedule
10:30 a.m. – Opening announcements
11:00 a.m. – Amazing Duck Race begins
11:30 a.m. – Race finishes and prize announcements
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Youth Vendor Market, petting zoo, food trucks, yard games and community activities
2:30 p.m. – Event concludes
The Duck Race has been bringing the community together in various forms since 2014 and has grown into one of Synergy’s signature annual fundraising events, welcoming hundreds of attendees each year.
