Proposed Amendment to the Kinniburgh South Outline Plan and Land Use Bylaw
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000, and amendments thereto, the Council of the City of Chestermere is considering Bylaw 004-24. A public hearing will be held on TUESDAY, March 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. during a regular meeting of Council for the below-proposed bylaw.
The Public Hearings is scheduled during a regular meeting of Council, visit our council meeting page where links to watch the live stream will be posted on the day of the meeting.
Written submissions may be submitted by emailing publichearing@chestermere.ca with your name, address, phone number, the bylaw number you are speaking to and whether you are in favour or opposed or by completing the feedback option by visiting the Public Notices page. Requests for verbal representation must be made by Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. The City will accept written submissions until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2024.
Bylaw 004-24 proposes an amendment to the Kinniburgh South Outline Plan and to the Land Use Bylaw 022-10, as amended, to redesignate the following:
• To redesignate 2.3 ha of the Residential Single Detached (R-1) District to the Residential
Planned Lot Front Drive (R-1PFD) District.
• To redesignate 0.04 ha of the Residential Single Detached (R-1) District to the Direct
Control Residential Semi-Detached (DCR-2) District.
• To redesignate 0.05 ha of the Residential Single Detached (R-1) District to the Public
Service (PS) District
