Pursuant of the provisions of Section 191.2 and 606 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000, and amendments thereto, the Council of the City of Chestermere is considering Bylaw 017-24.
A Public Hearing will be held TUESDAY, May 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. during a Special Meeting of Council for the below-proposed bylaw.
Bylaw 017-24 proposes that the City of Chestermere repeal the following Bylaws:
- Bylaw 2006-600/2 Kinniburgh North Outline Plan;
- Bylaw 2006-600/5 Kinniburgh South Outline Plan;
- Bylaw 2006-600/8 Westmere Stage 6 Outline Plan;
- Bylaw 021-13 Westmere Stage 7 Outline Plan;
- Bylaw 025-16 Chelsea Outline Plan;
- Bylaw 001-17 Bridgeport Outline Plan;
- Bylaw 002-17 Dawson Landing Outline Plan;
- Bylaw 008-17 Waterford Stage 1 Outline Plan;
- Bylaw 014-17 Webster Outline Plan;
- Bylaw 016-22 Waterford Estate SW Outline Plan;
- Bylaw 021-22 Clearwater Park West Outline Plan;
- Bylaw 014-23 Clearwater Park Outline Plan Amendment.
This is the first legislative step to amend how the City of Chestermere adopts Outline Plans.

Requests for verbal presentation must be made by Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The City will accept written submissions until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024.
