On November 12th, 2024, City Council conducted a closed council meeting where they were presented information on Bill 20, the Municipal Affairs Statutes Amendment Act, 2024. Information was presented by Brownlee LLP and included details about the bill, including objectives and changes. The bill will take effect on January 1st, 2025.
