The City of Chestermere is updating how Council meeting agendas and supporting documents are viewed online.
Beginning July 9, 2026, residents will notice a new agenda viewing platform that provides easier access to meeting information. The first Council meeting using the new platform will take place on July 14, 2026.
What’s Changing?
While the information available to the public remains the same, the way agenda documents and attachments are accessed will look a little different.
New Public Meeting Calendar
Meeting agendas will now be available through a new public meeting page layout that includes both list and calendar views. By default, meetings will be displayed in a calendar format, with the option to switch to a list view. Simply select a meeting to view available agenda documents.
Residents will be able to choose between:
- HTML Version – View the agenda directly in a web browser
- PDF Version – Download or print a copy of the agenda

Accessing Attachments
In the previous system, supporting documents often appeared directly beneath an agenda item.
In the new system, supporting documents will be identified by a paperclip icon beside the agenda item. To open an attachment:
- Click the agenda item or paperclip icon.
- A list of available attachments will appear.
- Select the document link to open and view the file.
This change helps keep agendas more organized while ensuring supporting information remains easy to find.

Explore the New Council Meetings Page
Take a few minutes to explore the updated Council Meetings page before the July 14 Council meeting and get familiar with the new agenda viewing experience.
